I think that the next time I go to Stasio's, I'll try their Italian sub. I'm a big salami girl, so I got their "creator" sub which lets you pick one meat and one cheese. I got salami and provolone, plus all the veggies that come with it and some mustard. The salami was incredibly delicious, don't get me wrong, but I feel like I missed out on their house-made Italian dressing and their other meats. Also, just a personal thing, but their bread is more on the soft side. It's tasty, but I prefer a bit more resistance in a sub roll. I'll definitely be returning, though--the staff are incredibly friendly, and the building has that authentic deli atmosphere that I'd previously only experienced in New York City. I wish they didn't close so early, but I can understand why they do. Give it a shot if you're looking for a sandwich place in the city!

Stasio's never disappoints. Today, we went in mid afternoon (around 2pm on a Saturday). We were immediately greeted and asked if we've been at Stasio's before. we went to the counter to order, once you order you are given a ticket. Bring the ticket to the register at the front to pay. Once you pay, they will bring out your food to you. The sandwiches are amazing. I've never been let down. The service is impeccable, the bakery staff always walk over to ask if you have any questions, the sandwich makers are very kind and patient. They have a decent selection of Italian grocery items. Would definitely recommend.

For just the small cost of 80¢, you too can experience the blissfulness and beauty of what is the Stasio's rainbow cookie. Enlighten your tastebuds with the glorious layers of colorful marzipan, sweet succulent raspberry jam, covered in a decadent chocolate coating that is all life-changing. During my very first visit to Stasio's, this delicious treat caught my eye and now I will be a loyal customer for life. This Italian deli is nothing short of amazing. If my dramatic review for the rainbow cookie did not already convince you, let me tell you about the exquisite, incredible fresh sandwich and out of this world kind and generous service. When I approached the bakery case, the women politely asked if I had any questions or needed any help. I immediately pointed to the rainbow cookie and asked what it was. She graciously walk around from behind the counter and to my side of the bakery case to explain the different treats they had to offer. While I was waiting for my sandwich order, I watched as another employee did the same gesture and that truly impressed me. Most places would just talk to you over the counter and I love how they go above and beyond here at Stasio's. Right before I enjoyed the delectable rainbow cookie, I shared a sandwich with my boyfriend, which was large enough to fill both of us up. We got the sub of the week: porchetta, spicy sausage, sautéed spinach, roasted peppers with provolone cheese and toasted. This was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. You can really taste how fresh the ingredients are. I was worried about the spiciness of the sausage, but it was pretty mild with a slight kick. Ok I'm going to stop now. If you need me I'll be dreaming of Statio's and thinking about it nonstop.
